Designer vs. High street

It’s not because I can’t afford designer bags that I love high street, NO!!! I love high street and I like designer bags, ’cause high street is just so wearable for a middle class professional/career woman like me.

And when I compare the Givenchy Antigona with this Business bag by Zara, I see no reason to change my ways.

This doesn’t mean I don’t splurge, ’cause I do.  Especially when it’s a special day like my birthday, wedding anniversary or those days when I’m depressed and in need of retail therapy.  🙂

Still on Zara – Fresh in !

I hear a lot of peeps saying that they don’t really acquire bags like they acquire shoes or tees but it is my opinion that no outfit is complete without the right bag. Little wonder, we are loving these bags by Zara

Quick & Chic

Get this Tory Burch bag from La tendenza Lagos.

Ms. Ashlee Lepori has told us that she had to get out quick and back. However, she managed to look quite chic with her: a cute statement bag by Tory Burch,  a simple but stylish coat by Ambiance and super cute patent shoes by boutique Me Too- we love the big collars of the coat- a very Hepburn overall look!

To start us off, let’s look at this Zipper beauty.  Practical and trending now, this bag works well for formal and casual outfits.

The Versatile Denim Shirt
A couple of weekends ago, my Mom walked around Kohl’s with a denim shirt over her arm, indecisive.  “How can I buy a denim shirt?  I feel like I just made myself throw out all my denim shirts!”

But here we were again, shopping for denim shirts.  And yes, we’re going to look pretty good.  😉
Dress it up, dress it down, they’re back and better than ever.  Three Looks for a $40 American Eagle Outfitters denim top:
Left to right:
